RSS MTBS3D PODCASTS...?

Post by shonofear »

I would really love to have your Blogs/News integrated into a audio/video podcast on itunes.
This wouldnt have to be a weekly thing, even a monthly update could be cool.

Any 1 else think that this might be popular...?
i love me podcasts, i got heaps of Gamer Podcasts but a S3D 1 would be GR8.

just an idea, im sure youve considered it by now, but you got my vote.

And since you (Neil) are getting lots of interviews for S3D related stuff,
you could just get some recorded audio from the interviews etc

Cheers

Shono

I remember that there is a MTBS3D group on youtube but I can't remember where the link is located on the website or the forums. There are a few videos of Neil and of Sharky.

However, a podcast is different. I think he is thinking of a regular series on S-3D in radio format, etc.

Check out the above URLs for samples.

hey again,

sorry bout the late reply..... but yea, i mean like radio type podcast but more like the iTunes subscription podcasts.
I literally froth (as in excited) when i listen to podcasts on game news/technology news/vfx news etc...
I figured Niel, Sharky and a few other regular admins could record a monthly podcast of S3D news, games, special guests, forum Q & A, even get a few sponsors and put a few adds in between segments to maybe cover costs (if needed).

I'm sure there are lots of others on this site who download and listen to like 1up gaming podcasts, so maybe if theres enough interest, it would be shweet for a MTBS3D podcast.

just putting it out there again...

I vote yes though :D

hey peoples and Neil,

Found a cool site that can turn a RSS feed into an audible podcast. (and a good text to speech engine used)

http://www.odiogo.com/

Pretty sweet, i tried it on my new blank blog, and seemed to work great, even hooks the converted podcasts into ITunes as a legit podcasts.
Worth a look for sure,
cheers
waiting patiently......
