Immortals: The 3D Blu-ray

Post by Chiefwinston »

This is only rental worthy material. I was able to rent the 3D blu-ray for $2.80. It is a Greek mythology story. It also, has Mickey Rourke in it. I thought Mickey did a fine acting job. There is a lot of gore and violence through out the movie. This is a 3D conversion. I found the 3D to be uncomfortable in some area's. Uncomfortable because some of the 3D is distorted and isn't done right. But, besides all its flaws- I enjoyed the show.

Chief's score card:
Story: 7.0
Acting: 7.5
Special effects: 8.0
Music: 6.0
3D: 6.50/6.75

Final Score: 7.0

I would not buy the 3D blu-ray.

Peace

I just watched this movie, bought the blu-ray 3d and thought it was ok. Nothing mind boggling 3d in it. Alot of the slow pans and close up clear shots were nice in 3d. I'd call this movie 2d similar. Had very good scenery and was well thought out, just missing Volume in scene.

A video chain store called "Family Video". They have a small but growing 3D section.
