Re: Did FedEx Commit 3D Crime? You decide!
So that's what happened to my first 3D monitor that arrived faulty!!
Seriously though, my first 3D monitor order arrived 24 hours late, had a part missing and was faulty. It made me suspicious and imagine that one of the delivery guys had borrowed it, tried it out at home and then re-delivered it the next day, forgetting to put one of the parts back in. It's possible, but more likely that it was just delivered late and was a faulty monitor that wasn't packed properly.
One thing I have learnt from this experience though is that companies either 1) don't do their jobs properly or 2) are seriously understaffed. In my experience both delivery and customer service were lousy with my first faulty purchase, even refusing to authorize a return at first until I started to threaten them with legal action.
Anyway, its all sorted now, I've got my LG DM2350 (from a different online retailer) and I'm very happy with it. It's exactly what I paid for and what I expected to get.

Thats exactly why I am never ordering anything over the internet. Even though most 3d stuff you have to buy online since local stores in my city are behind the times or only have limited 3d products.
When I sent my 3d monitor to get repaired and got it back the frame was cracked and busted on the bottom left corner. I've heard so many people having to return their electronics due to doa. I really don't think postal service is meant for computers and electronics.
I bet that fedex guy was on drugs or drinks to much.

Am I the only one to think that's a fake ? This guy really has a 720p color camera with a pretty good quality as a security system outside of his house ? Also this box doesn't seem to weight as much as the 9Kg of a Syncmaster T27A950 seeing how the "delivery man" throws it as if it weighted nothing.

Kinda looks fake, but there is a bit of weight when he first leaves the van, and then his posture while walking seems to show his frame balancing some weight. I rarely let UPS deliver things, cuz I watch them inside their warehouse when picking up my items. They are always tossing things about, just like the video shows. They expect things to be packed well enough to take just that kind of punishment, and are fairly up front about their packing requirements.

If someone works like that he wouldn't be able to keep the job for more than that somebody notice what he's doing. Not even at fed-ex.
(yep, now doing travellingluggage at the airport, pretty much the same...).
