Hello, I am a PC and PS3 player and I really like to get into S-3D pool. Maybe you have allready have heard, this year at E3 2011 Sony has announced a Playstation branded 24' 3D Display. Its very suits my needs, espacially in financial way. Its allready certain that it will work with PS3 console. But what I wonder is: Can I have S-3D Gaming on PC with this 3D Display by NVDIA GeForce 3D Software? Would NVDIA's 3D glasses be compatable with the Display?
Thank you.

The Nvidia glasses will not work with the PS 3D display. It will only work with the included Sony glasses. However it is likely the Nvidia 3DTV Play software will be supported at some point (Nvidia will need to add support for it, but they probably will). Then you can play 3D games on your PC. This is also possible with an AMD card using their HD3D software, which allows either DDD or IZ3D drivers to be compatible with any HDMI 1.4a display.

I see, so after the Playstation display releases I will just need wait for NVDIA to add support. After that will I still need to use the NVDIA's active shutter glasses or the ones that comes with the Playstation display itself?

The display will only work with Sony glasses, or universal glasses that specifically support Sony TVs. NOT Nvidia glasses. But honestly, the Sony glasses are leaps and bounds better than Nvidia's.

So thats mean I dont have to buy the NVDIA's Active Shutters Glasses if I mean to buy that 3D Display. Pretty much every 3D Display that comes with its own 3D glasses.
Thank you very much for your answers. Have a nice day.
