3D glasses are lame. Glassessless-3D phones can be abominations. But a pair of glasses that simulate strapping a 75-inch 3D-capable screen to your face? Mmmmmmmaybe.
Vuzix's Wrap 1200 glasses let you watch video from your phone, iPod, or other device on a proper screen. That actually sounds pretty awesome, although most 3D content would be large enough to probably require some kind of portable streaming hard drive. The glasses weigh three ounces, support 16:9 and 4:3 ratios, and each eyepiece has a 852x480 LCD screen. And just to push the dork quotient into the next county, you can wear them over top of most prescription glasses. They're available now for $500. [Vuzix]

I'm waiting for the 1200VR model to be released. You can expect a full review shortly afterwards.
