Re: motherboard
You should refer to the motherboard manual or search the model number online. Usually it is not hard to find which chips the motherboard is using.

Re: motherboard
If you don't know the exact mobo model, download CPU-Z. It should give you the make and model of the mobo. Then go to the manufacturer's web site. If it's somethink like RealTek, you can try their site or do a search.
The BIOS may also give indication of what it is as well.
THere are various other utilities out there as well.

Re: motherboard
He's a spammer guys, his question has nothing to do with 3D and is the exact copy of one already posted in several other forums (answers.yahoo, myhpmini, fireballtech, planetz, etc.).

Re: motherboard
This is pretty common (and I suspected as much) but I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt. It was, at least, posted in the correct section.

Re: motherboard
When I see people asking general questions that have nothing to do with 3D in particular, I generally copy&paste their question in google, this way I know rapidely if it's spam or not. Benefit of doubt is a nice approach, but spam is such a pain that it's good to identify it quickly to not have the forum be polluted too much.

I guess maybe the thread itself should of been killed then.
