If you lost faith in the PC gaming market, fret not! Electronic Arts is convinced otherwise. Thanks to increasingly secure download systems like Steam and the sheer size of the PC market, it's an opportunity that EA can't ignore. According to EA President Frank Gibeau, they plan to place a stronger focus on PC gaming to claw their company to the top. This is great news for PC stereoscopic 3D gamers!

I have the Crysis 2 MP demo. The graphics are fine, 3D seems to work, and I didn't have to patch/hack it or anything like that. The game is actually pretty cool (even if the 3D could have been done better). I will probably get this game when it comes out.

-then, how about dragon age 2 and hd3d ...? Just, wtf is goin on with this publisher, are they total derp or something<<?
What is that Dragon age and HD3D thing about ? I never heard EA, Bioware or AMD saying anything about it. The only place I ever read such a thing was a website that mistook AMD's DX11 developer program and Eyefinity with HD3D.

Lot of my team mates pre-orderer dragon age 2 and when we understood it was not going to be a classic RPG and have a bad quality, they all canceled it !
EA had not influence on Bioware at the start of DAO, at the end, a part of the game was transformed into DLC, after that, DLC was not very good and at the end DA2 is not so bad but simply not a good game. NB: my favorite independent video game paper (canardPC) mark it at 4/10. The only game ever developed by bioware witch is not good. Thank you EA.

Hey guys, funny story here which mirrors another story that was present on these boards a few weeks ag but this one is actualy worse. My EA account has been permanently banned (tez19) and therefore like the other guy cannot access my DA2 game or DLC. Just would like to throw this out there for people to talk about. Unlike the poster before me i did not call EA the devil or insult EA or Bioware in any way. In fact I did insult other people who were insulting members of Bioware (The guy [Towering Fury] for wishing death on David Gaider and another poster who was typing racial remarks towards Stanley Woo). I am very disappointed as anybody would be that My games and DLC have been disabled and my EA account has been permanently banned. I guess people who said you shouldn’t register your games to your account were correct. Unfortunately it seems EA has lost another customer.
I'm sorry, Tritosine, but I'm not seeing any relevence of your posts and the topic of EA spending more attention on PC gaming. I also don't care for the YouTube video with the poor guy who suffers from Tourrettes syndrome.
If you want to express your grievances with EA, create a separate thread for this purpose and keep the material tasteful.
Thanks in advance, Neil

You're right but there is a difference between liking or disliking a game and seeing that a game is a quality game or not, or a game witch fool the player.
For example while I am a supreme commander fan, I dislike supcom2, and I feel I wasted my money when I bought it, but honestly the quality of supcom2 is good, it's still the same kind of game it merit to be named supcom2, just I don't like much the new gameplay, it's about taste. But for Dragon Age 2, it's not the same: firstly it fool DA Origins players: the game is totally reoriented, it should not have be named DA2 but something like Dragon Age: Action legend by Disney. Everything on the game make you remember that this game is fast made, like the caves witch are re-used again and again: it's not the same location but it's the same cave with maybe one corridor added or removed.
I rent or demo ALL my games. Game companies have great marketing departments- some of the best in the world. You should test ALL games before you buy. You will then have no one to blame but yourself. It is up to you to take the time and make sure it meets your expectation. I do it with every game I buy. Game sites are some of the most unreliable sources for buying games. RENT FIRST!!!!!!!!
cheers everyone
