I am pretty sure you are gonna need a dongle unless you buy a proffesional gfx card like the quadro or firegl. I have a dongle from e-dimensional
http://www.edimensional.com/product_inf ... ucts_id=54it has a 3-din vesa port that i use for my wireless e-dims. And it has a software ed.exe to turn on the glasses when run to a projector with a vga cable. I am sure you glases should work with a dongle like this since it uses the 3 pin vesa but I would email e-dimensional too since they sell the same glasses as you have and say they are only for mitsubishi tvs. This dongle also has a 3.5mm stereo 3d jack too and thats how I hook in my wired e-dims.
