Congratulations to The Game Creators For MTBS Certiifcation!

Post by Neil »

Congratulations to The Game Creators for implementing native stereoscopic 3D support in their game engine, and earning MTBS certification.

Lee Bamber, their President & CEO, will be available to answer questions. This is the tip of the iceberg of what is coming.

This forum is meant strictly for their DarkBASIC Professional game engine.

Regards,
Neil

Thats good to hear. I think DBPro S3D support will be very good for hobbyists and beginners that might not be comfortable working with more advanced platforms (like Unigine for example). I've only worked with DBPro a little bit, but it is very easy to work with and affordable so it should help a lot of people that may want to experiment with stereo3d without all the hassle involved with other solutions. Hopefully this is a sign of good things to come.

This is awesome! I definitely look forward to try to start developing in S-3D. I haven't had much time to study anything more complicated than DarkBASIC lately, so I'll have to stick to this for now but I am definitely very excited!

Hi,
MTBS Certification means that DBPro works in IZ3D monitors ???
And others 3d stereo solutions like nVidia 3dVideo (not anaglypt) glasses ???

Thanks,

MTBS Certification is different from Nvidia certification. In this case, DarkBASIC implemented native stereoscopic 3D support for iZ3D monitors. We will inquire with them on their plans with Nvidia - but this stamp of approval predates that.

In practice, they should get an updated stamp like this one now that Nvidia has modernized.

This was some time ago, and it's in reference to the iZ3D monitor.
