Connection options for Notebook: HDMI to DVI Converter?

I have a notebook (http://rog.asus.com/Product.aspx?PId=39) that only has HDMI 1.4 output , and I'm looking into a monitor that only has a DL-DVI input for 3D (http://accessories.dell.com/sna/product ... u=320-8846).

Can I buy a simple HDMI to DVI adapter cable to connect them, or is this not going to work?
