Theoretically they should work, assuming the monitor is a 120Hz 3D-ready LCD computer monitor (NOT HDTV). However the problem comes when trying to use 3D software to play games (compatibility for video files may be better). If you want to use the Nvidia 3D drivers, you will need an Nvidia card and the Nvidia 3D Vision kit. This means you *must* use the Nvidia brand glasses and not e-dimensional. The iz3D driver can also be supported but it probably won't work as good as the Nvidia kit. With iz3D, you could use the e-dimensional glasses, though (Nvidia glasses won't work). You can check this thread for details:

Probably the most compatible mode is going to be if you use the "interleaved" option on the iz3D driver (for the "line-interlaced" mode on DDD TriDef). This will allow you to have perfect sync with the glasses. For full 120Hz page-flipped mode you will likely have issues with the eyes going out of sync. However, it seems if you have one of the latest AMD cards this has been greatly improved (still not perfect though). See this thread:

http://forum.iz3d.com/viewtopic.php?t=3656" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

To be honest, though, if you want a simple no-headache solution, just get the Nvidia 3D Vision glasses with an Nvidia certified monitor. You can see the supported hardware here:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision- ... ments.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

If you try with e-dimensional you are going to run into problems and, while it is technically possible, if you are not experienced working with stereo 3d it may prove more of a hassle than it is worth. The Nvidia glasses, I'm pretty sure, are better than the ed glasses. So you would save maybe $100 and get worse quality, compatibility headaches, or it might not even work at all. Doesn't seem worth it to me.
