Hello all,
I have the new Envy 17 3D laptop and I am trying to get my favorite game to work in stereoscopic 3d. That game is Battleground Europe. It runs on a OpenGl game engine (Unity 1.5) I have had no luck getting it to work in 3d. It seemd all the new drivers only support Direct3d not OpenGL.
Has anyone had any luck getting OpenGl games to run and in paticular Battleground Europe?
Thanks!

it depends on your viewing solution, for instance, zalman users can use the Edimensional drivers I think or the old nvidia drivers

I am using a HP 3D laptop. It has a ATI 5850 video card and a i7 720 processor.
This laptop has shutter glasses with a built in imiterr in the screen bezel.

Unfortunately all the new 3D drivers only support DirectX. However, I thought Unity used DirectX (at least on Windows). I know I certainly viewed some Unity content in 3D before. However it only works in full-screen mode, but it has worked for me.

He is referring to Unity3d 1.5 (current version is 3.0) - back then it might not have had DirectX support.cybereality wrote:Unfortunately all the new 3D drivers only support DirectX. I've been able to run it in windowed/browser mode (though lately there is a strange issue when running em through the browser not sure if it's due to the new iz3d drivers or a unity3d update)
