Jean Michel Jarre released a 3D dvd...

Post by sharky »

jean michel jarre is a frech musican who started 30 years ago and got very famous within a very short time. he is in the guinnes book for having the concert with the most people watching.
in 1979 and then again in 1987 and then again in 1990 and then finally again in 1997 with 3.5 million watching at moscow s 850th anniversary.

he is knwon as the "inventor" of electronic music since he always was in front of others. the most known song is oxigene wich is also used as background music on his webpage. (www.jeanmicheljarre.com) when he started with electronic music the situation for him was worst than 3D for mtbs 1 year ago, (fortunately now its going much ebtter.. :D)

the important thing is that he allways was into new things, always into things wich mean the future.. well, in november 2007, 30 years after the making of oxygene he published a 3D dvd called "jean michel jarre, live in your living room". if HE publishes a 3d dvd its like a enshurance for 3D...

bye

just one info about oxygene:

Oxygene is an album of instrumental electronic music composed, produced, and performed by Jean Michel Jarre, and released in 1976 (see 1976 in music) on Disques Dreyfus, licensed to Polydor. Jarre recorded the album in his home using a variety of analog synthesizers and other electronic instruments and effects.

Originally Jarre found it hard to get the record released, due to its entirely instrumental composition and the lack of a clear single which could be sold separately. After its release it became one of the most popular and characteristic albums of electronic music with sales of over 15 million copies of the album and later singles worldwide.

The track "Oxygene (Part II)" is perhaps most famously remembered for its poignant use in the Australian film, Gallipoli.

The track "Oxygene (Part IV)" was released as a single and became one of the best-known pieces of electronic music ever.
