Hi I recently bought an Nvidia 3d vision kit and I must say it is awesome. I love the whole package and experience. I did not get a 120hz monitor yet. Just waiting for a 32 inch model to come out or maybe 26 inch. Anyways I had to rearrange my whole computer room monitors to get this to work. I have one nec 19 inch and a phillips 32 inch and a crt 19 inch i had to carry from storage and a benq projector. I really never have any room left for a crt but Nvidia drivers need it or else a supported 120 hz lcd. Only right now I have a few problems I got to figure out. I know its easier to buy compatable hardware for stereo3d especially with nvidia, but why on earth cannot they make a projector profile outlinning the left/right/ swap and no need to hook up a generic crt. I really don't want to watch a movie or even have my crt in my room anymore. Even with new 3d ready projectors and such I want to wait till my bulb goes first then buy a whole new unit. I still have like 2 years left on it. People say that Nvidia wants to make a clear money pit for their 3d glasses and 3rd party companies but I don't think so. They just want to make sure there is no incompatabilites with old and new hardware. The enginneers that make the drivers and hardware probably don't even know people want to have a generic projector profile. Plus if they are supporting 3d dlp as a connection and old crt then why not projectors as a profile. Even if they made this better in the future driver releases maybe july maybe, then more people would pay for their stuff and switch from others. Nvidia has a promising solution now that I see it and will only get better and I want to buy more glasses from them for 150 or something. I just don't want to only use 3d discovery glasses to much on my projector to watch films and have an endless amount of vga cable splitters to connect all my displays with my new kit.

Nvidia knows what they are doing, I am sure of that. They like to play dumb but its all for the money. Certainly it costs money to get "certified" by Nvidia. They don't want people using just any projector.
