Great footage indeed, but separation is quite strong.

I have finally ordered my full PC with the HD capture card (i'm not going the FRAPS way). It should arrive next week (yepee)

What capture did you get? The Hauppauge HD-PVR?

Pretty sure that just captures raw, right? no hardware encoder on it? Gonna either need a BIG harddrive, and compress later, or a separate REALLY fast computer... This is the reason I had always recommended the HD-PVR, with driver in interlaced mode, instead...

There is a very good quality MJPEG encoding/decoding chip onboard. That's the codec I already use for editing video and which i'll be very happy to continue using.
(although I would have loved to try Redcode raw wavelet codecs but... it's maybe asking a bit too much for such a low priced HD card)

Hi
I am capturing 1280x720 interlaced 3D.
The game is rendered 2x full 1280x720p, then downscaled to interlaced 2x1280x360 with the iZ3D optimized interlacing mode (basically transforms the vertical resolution into a 2x/3x Anti aliasing).
Then i capture the picture using an hdmi capture card in an other computer, so that my framerate is completely unaffected by the recording process.

The card I use is a BlackMagic Design Intensity HDMI. It records the video sent through an hdmi cable. It can only record 720p or 1080i resolution so I can't record any resolution I want, it has to be one of these two. I read there are new models that can record dual streams to do 3D but I don't know them.
