Looks like auto-stereo technology is picking up some steam. I might still want to wear glasses in the theaters or at home for the best possible quality, but for mobile purposes I think auto-stereo is definitely the way to go.

I don't believe it and even if it were true, 3d is about the experience for me. Not if I can watch it on the train.

I watched BlackSharks Red/Cyan Game Videos on YouTube on my HTC Touch Pro, and while the 3D was noticable, it was very underwhelming. Small Screens and 3D don't mix very well.

Well I was practically able to build an auto-stereo screen myself for about $20 and a weeks worth of time:



I imagine a company like Nokia has a lot more resources than I do to pull this off.
