Wow, that looks cool:
They've got it for sale on 3dstereo.com for $800 and mention an HD model coming later this year. I want one.

Here is another at a better price:

There is no mention of the HD version at Berezin however.

LOL! Yeah, now I remember that. Weird that people aren't all over this. As soon as I get some money I'm getting one.Tril wrote:I posted about it here before but the thread did not get much attention.

Re: NuView lives on as StereoCam
what are they talking about, did they develop some revolutionary new technology or something? its looks like an HMD to me.AUTO-STEREOSCOPIC Screens allow full 3D Stereo viewing without the need for any 3D glasses - similar to, but one technologically giant step ahead of lenticular viewing.

It does have HMD style binoculars, but it also features a flip-up auto-stereo display. You can see that here:DavidGhast wrote:what are they talking about, did they develop some revolutionary new technology or something? its looks like an HMD to me.
The thing is, they say its better than a lenticular display and it doesn't appear to have the ridges like a lenticular display would. Maybe they did discover some revolutionary new method for auto-stereo. Its hard to say from just those pictures and no one seems to have one. Guess its gonna cost $800 to find out.
