Rather critical of the new stereoscopic push...has some facts/opinions that needed clarification. I responded to the article (zaz123).
Some quotes from the article:
"From what I've seen, 3D Vision is a slick refinement of existing 3D display technology. In other words, it sucks less. But it still sucks pretty hard."
"All of these hoops you need to jump through might be worth it if the experience was compelling. It's not."
"From my perspective (pun intended), current generation 3D displays are to gaming what tilt-shift is to photography: It's mostly a gimmick that can achieve very cool effects—but ultimately, it really is just a gimmick. "
The author also seems to miss the point that AMD graphics cards are capable of stereoscopic output (via the iZ3D driver).

At least i've found one little interesting information in the associated Geforce vision review :
That's ghosting with the nvidia glasses. In almost all games, we found some objects had a subtle "shadow image" to the left and right of the object that grew distracting quickly. Tweaking the knob on the back of the IR transmitter to adjust the depth often reduced this, but in some games we could never eliminate it completely.

One day he'll discover the convergence setting and become a believer. But it's more like looking into a Fresnel-equipped display than looking real.
