3D supernova

Post by micronaut »

This is kind of 3D.

http://blog.wired.com/wiredscience/2009 ... video.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

New observations of a star that exploded 330 years ago have been combined into a three-dimensional fly-through.

Chandra X-ray observatory data used to create a 3D fly through of a supernova. No Romulan Warbirds so far. :p

I made 2 S-3D versions:

anaglyph:

sidebyside:
http://3d.wep.dk/my3Dvideos/3D%20Fly-Th ... rsion).AVI

anaglyph doesn't work so good because of the space colors but still...
