Historical account of the first stereoscopic images, and how to do it on your i-phone.

You see, even in 1859 nvidia didn't support geforce 8 cards ;)

Yes the crappy support from Nvidia is legendary :D

I saw an old stereoscope in an antique shop on an Azores island in the Atlantic ocean.
(Somehow that was very very hard to say in my head)
Those things are real.

"Look who's calling on my iPhone! It's 3D boss from work!"
Just a matter of time...

"Look it's World War 1 in 3D! Look at all the dead bodies! In 3D!"
... (and everybody goes to the back and gets sick)

I put some of them on my website (reversed, aligned and as .jps)
They are after all the only realistic historic view of our past.

Interesting article. I didn't realize stereoscopes were so common back then.

And look how far we have come...

Yeah... And for some it's necessary with 8 speakers for a proper reproduction when we have two ears. o.O
I find this incredibly strange!

The strangest thing is that an entire 500$ 7.1 system produces less good sound than a simple 50$ stereo headset... wonder why ;)
Passive 3D forever !

Very true! I have a recently purchased headset with inbuilt mic for 99 swedish krones (somewhere about 8-9 euros). Lol. And they're excellent for my crappy ears. :D
