Hi, if you have 3d vision you can use this method:
I stream them with 3D Vision Player using the method detailed in this thread:
https://forums.geforce.com/default/topi ... hem-first/
Basically this:
1) Download and extract OpenYT3D: https://github.com/brookep1/OpenYT3D/archive/v0.1.zip
2) Download rg3's Youtube Downloader (youtube-dl.exe) and place it in the "../OpenYT3d-0.1/ " directory:
https://yt-dl.org/latest/youtube-dl.exe
3) Download and install K-Lite Codec Pack: https://www.codecguide.com/
4) Download and install Nvidia 3D Vision Player: http://www.nvidia.com/object/3d-vision- ... river.html
5) Restart your computer
6) Copy the Youtube video's url
7) Run "openyt3d.bat" in the OpenYT3d-0.1 directory
8) Paste the Youtube url in the field (mouse right click --> Paste) and press Enter.
After a few seconds, 3D Vision player will pop up and the video will play automatically.
Optional Steps:
With the Command window open, click on the top left corner to access the dropdown menu.
Click Properties and enable "Quick Edit Mode". Click Ok.
Now pressing right click in the command window will automatically paste the link.

If you have a HMD then you can use this program, YouTube Vr:

Thanks Dom! I tried these steps but it doesn't seem to support outputting in row interlaced for the LG monitor- any other way? would be great if something like this could work with sView

Hey so I been looking for something like you need and found this:
http://www.3dphoto.net/forum/index.php?topic=11387.0
The issues are people are not tagging their HSBS videos with the correct tags to identify them as 3D, and the YouTube players don't provide any advanced settings to override the tags.
The solution is to use VLC with an interlace extension to stream the videos from YouTube. I tried it and found out the extension does not work with the latest version of VLC. However it still works with version 2.0.5 that it was developed for.
VLC 2.0.5 download link: http://filehippo.com/download_vlc_media ... 32c628142/
Interlace plugin download link: https://sourceforge.net/projects/vlcint ... p_redirect
Description of the plugin function: https://sourceforge.net/p/vlcinterlacedhs/wiki/Home/
The readme for the plugin provides the instructions needed for the installation.
To stream YouTube in VLC click Media->Open Network Stream and copy in the URL from YouTube.
Make sure VLC is set to fullscreen or the interlacing will not provide proper 3D.
-------------------------------------------\
The only other thing I can think of is using Stereoscopic player if you have it. It cost money to buy though and use OpenYT3D or download the video file from youtube, I think you need a subscription with youtube.

Re: YT3D in 2019?
thanks Dom! Yes, this finally works.
- it's almost though, as if yt3d is no longer a "priority" for developers
- at first I thought it didn't work/kept trying to change the settings, then realized it works only in fullscreen. AND I had to disconnect my second monitor, since if it's enabled it tries to stretch the image to that as well
-it would be really great to be able to watch in windowed though, since the LG display I have ( I don't know if that's the case for all such displays) has such a low 3d fov that either the lower or upper part of the screen is 2d depending on how I look

Re: YT3D in 2019?
Glad it works but seems like your setup had to change. I'm not sure why your screen can only show 3d on certain spots, most likely the 3d app your using unless its the video drivers you have installed ( not sure ).
I would email Kirill the developer for Sview to see if he could add support for YouTube Half SBS videos Url Streaming. It Seems like a basic function in a 3d player.
I emailed him to make a website 3d player like Sview but for websites, but he said no.
heres his contact: kirill@sview.ru
http://www.sview.ru/en/about/
Maybe Cybereality can see what a better solution is too, he's a smart guy.

Re: YT3D in 2019?
Thanks Dom!
I think it's hardware related, though I'm unsure if I got a defective monitor or all of them are like this: what happens is, if I position my head "just right" I can see almost all the screen in 3d, but if I move just a tiny bit up/down some parts become 2d - I think it has something to do with how the 3d film was aligned on the panel or something like that.
Do you per chance know if larger 40-50 inch LG "3d cinema" tvs suffer from this issue or if it's possible to watch them comfortably? I've been thinking of getting one since now they are cheaper

Re: YT3D in 2019?
I heard some people on the Geforce forums have a little ghosting on their passive 3dtv's 50 inch with 3d vision but said that if they watch blu-ray 3d movies it was perfect no matter where they sat. So I think it depends on the software and drivers you are using, could be hardware but I don't think the company would sell bad hardware from the factory.
Why don't you get a 3d projector 720p one? They are cheap like around $500 dollars with some DLP link glasses and you could have a 300 inch screen, but you need a wall or screen for that too. Unless you need tv channels then you would need a 3dtv.
I have a 3d projector and have a ps3 hooked to it for 3d on that and can watch blu-ray 3d movies and rent 3d movies from playstation, its around 200 inches on my living room wall.
I don't think the 3d cinema tv are a bad option, just that you may have to watch where you sit again, I would go with active if I was you just to be sure you get the wide Fov.

Re: YT3D in 2019?
I just assumed YT3D was dead. Haven't seen it working in a long time (at least not through the YouTube interface).
I'm mostly just using a 3D projector now with a PS4 for 3D Blu-Ray. My PC also supports Nvidia 3DTV Play still at least, but I don't really game in 3D that often anymore.

Hello, Yuri, it's great to read you again.
If I remember correctly, LG polarised 3D TVs, have a little right spot and it is quite far from the screen.
I was also thinking yt3d was dead. I think it's time for us, s3d fans to do the job as companies abandon us (except for vr).

Yes, there is an opportunity. Im watching a video. I also have a question for you. I have a site - SLR, where you can watch VR videos, what glasses do I need to buy so that they support this format?

Truly, there is a chance. I'm viewing a video. I additionally have an inquiry for you. I have a site - SLR, where you can watch VR recordings, what glasses do I have to purchase with the goal that they bolster this arrangement?
