The Detroit 3D Video is awesome. And its amazing that you have made such a big progress in such a short timehelifax wrote: ↑Mon Jul 13, 2020 3:48 pm I am honestly interested in your opinion
Honestly, only 3-4 people actually saw the video?! Wow... if this is the case... I might re-think this whole endeavour ) and instead of making a generic toolkit for fixing games in Vulkan, I might just release fixes for the games I care about.
Would that be better?
I kept hearing that everyone wants Stereo3D in Vulkan and yet here we are... with most people not actually caring about it.... or so it seems. Is it because this is not Red Dead Redemption 2 or Cyberpunk 2077 that people don't look at it?!
Is this the same interest for DirectX 12? Or is it because "you can't download it and try it yet" ?
I am really confused right now and any feedback is appreciated
Cheers,

I personally believe that a more generic tool approach would definitely be the better choice, so that the tooling for fixing future games would be in place, but I can definitely not estimate how much more effort this would be for you.
But I think based on 3Dmigoto you can see how such a tool can make great progress, when you compare how rather small it started and how many 3D fixes are now available on http://helixmod.blogspot.com/.
And how many feature were added like the regex feature to enable even universal fixes for e.g. UE4 and Unity made by the community.
Maybe even open source would be an option so that also other people could participate, but that decision is definitely up to you.
I personally would also pay for fixes, but no fix without a tool
I think the awareness in this forum is not so high but when a stereo 3D fix for e.g. RDR2 would be available I think this would definitely spread the word.
And when more newer games come out and only support Vulcan or DX12 the interest will definitely rise I think.
But thats just my 2 cents.
Again awesome job and projects like this keep the hope up that 3D Stereo gaming will still be alive in the future and not only in VR.
I wish you the best and good luck
