Fresh install of Windows? Was it working before?
How did you install the drivers, 3d fix manager?

Not sure what happened to cause that, but you can manually install the USB driver on any Win10 version, and any video driver.
Unzip the 425.31 driver into a folder, then unzip the 3DVision.exe setup into a folder. In there you'll find the USB Driver folder, and you can find the .inf file for the driver. Right click that and do Install, and it will install the USB driver.

Re: *BUG* NVIDIA 3D Vision USB Driver
@russelk : no fresh install of WIN, yes it was working with WIN 8.1 but not with WIN 10, drivers were installed with clean install and 3D drivers through 3D fix manager and I noticed there is WIN 10 button which isnt working it says error to download
bo3bber : tried your advice, installed it manually and it says the same thing with USB driver not installed
Robert256 : Havent tried yet.. need to give it a go but I think that because of my shitty luck with getting it fixed, the usb wont be fixed but for sure I will give it a go

Re: *BUG* NVIDIA 3D Vision USB Driver
So what you're saying is that this is a fresh install of Windows 10, then you tried to use 3d fix manager to install and get 3d vision working?
Which version of W10? *edit* Sorry, I just realised you already posted that!
I assume you realise that the whole thing is unsupported by Nvidia now so you're basically relying on the good will of others? The more info you can provide, the better.
What's your display? Assume it's a 3d vision kit/emitter etc?
If there is a new issue then maybe it can be solved.

Re: *BUG* NVIDIA 3D Vision USB Driver
The Geforce driver hack will be improved with next 3DFM version. I'll start to look into it this week. Bo3b succeeded to make 3dmigoto load the modified driver dll which will bring improved compatibility for the hack. For current 3DFM version the hack is directly applied to the installed graphics driver which might fail for some people.heroicapple wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:45 am @russelk : no fresh install of WIN, yes it was working with WIN 8.1 but not with WIN 10, drivers were installed with clean install and 3D drivers through 3D fix manager and I noticed there is WIN 10 button which isnt working it says error to download

About your USB driver issue I would recommend to look into the device manager if you see a yellow exclamation mark for the USB emitter there. If yes try to reinstall the driver. I once had this issue, too. I was able to fix it by either plugging the 3D Vision emitter to another usb port or by reinstalling the usb emitter driver.

Re: *BUG* NVIDIA 3D Vision USB Driver
My emitter just randomly started acting up.
When I look at properties for it in Device Manager, the event log says "device deleted" a few times.
I hope it's not failing. Thankfully, I have 3 more
Edit: BTW this is W10 1909 425.31

Re: *BUG* NVIDIA 3D Vision USB Driver
Since you have a 1080ti, stop messing around with other drivers, and just install 425.31.heroicapple wrote: ↑Tue Jun 02, 2020 8:45 am @russelk : no fresh install of WIN, yes it was working with WIN 8.1 but not with WIN 10, drivers were installed with clean install and 3D drivers through 3D fix manager and I noticed there is WIN 10 button which isnt working it says error to download

If it doesn't work there, something is broken on your system.

Is your issue solved in the meantime? USB Hubs may cause issues as well if they start malfunctioning.

@ Pauldusler
I work out of town these days and have very little time to game.
I'm not using a hub atm, but it is defaulting to 3D Vision Discover each time I launch W10, W7 is Ok.
It might be driver compatibility because my Mobo is ancient. I tweaked power management to not suspend the system.
It's an inconvenience, more than anything. BTW, I'm not using 3DFM, so all is good on you end.

Re: *BUG* NVIDIA 3D Vision USB Driver
This is not exactly the spot for the info, but nvidia threads were destroyed.
On Win 10 1909, the blue screen we would get when it powered down the emitter has been fixed, so you no longer need the 3dnodoze script to keep it from powering down.
In some strange scenario that I cannot narrow down- I'm occasionally getting blue screens when that script is firing. On 1903. Probably unnecessary now.
