Hi Folks,
I am new to this forum, but I made some hours of recherche in the I-Net before I post my question here:
I tried to get FreePie Android running on my Android watch which is running Android 4.2.2 fully rooted. The App starts correctly, but isn't able to read out the Orientation data, as I can notice, when I switch on the debug button. The sensors of the watch are working fine, because I can check the functionality with the App "Androsensor".
The app works really good with my Sony Xperia Z3 Tablet Compact, but I want to avoid to clutch such a brick onto my head.
Since Androsensor can readout the sensor data, I reckon, that it should be possible to persuade FreePie to do so too...
waiting for your response and best regards and many thanks for this nice piece of software,
Pequi

We are using the SDK to read the sensors so it's not much more we can do, are raw working?

Tnx for your fast response!
When I start FreePie and look under the debug-area, even with raw enabled, I can't see any data behind "Accelerometer", etc. There is just nothing, not even a zero, no character at all.
Cya,
Pequi

The SDK is not trigging the code that listenes to sensor changes for some reason, thats why you get nothing under debug. I will ask on Android dev forum

Today I saw a post in this forum from you as a reply to user Izotov:
But not very well, cuz it seems, that this smartwatch doesn't have good sensors builtin. It makes harsh lags. Not usable. This new version of the app works good with my Sony Z3 Xperia compact tablet, but it is a brick on the head...
Seems, that I don't need wakelock anymore, cuz it disables the standby in the smartphone by itself, isn't it?

FreePIE 1.8 has the same version. Yeah, wakelock is built into the app in that version
