Hi I don't have a macontosh, but I recommend using bootcamp and emailing microsoft letting them know you are going this route so it does not interfer with your Mac OS operating system files and that you get the proper updates. Anyways I am sure there is a program for macontosh that will let you compile a win32 application or even service that lets the user switch kernels or just basic ones like directshow. You may also contact quicktime since they are that main base for filters and plugings involving trailers and their studio releases for mac. It might seem like to too much trouble and the easiest way is probably to recompile a program, so all you need to do basically is pick out the main dll files and extensions then let the process convert. Sony does this all the time with their ps3 to psp ps2 games.

What display/glasses are you planning on using? What connection VGA/DVI/HDMI/Displayport? You can get at least interlaced display with (vga pass thru ED/X3d/x-force/etc) shutterglasses or zalman working with mplayer for playback. Checkerbord 3d will work if you use glasses that sync with the screen eg dlp link projector or samsung/mitsubishi 3d dlp tv, but will chew tons of cpu. You would have to feel comfortable with using the command line. See the mplayer thread: http://www.mtbs3d.com/phpBB/viewtopic.p ... 21&start=0

This may not be your best/only option, but will almost certainly be the cheapest.

So, the proposed solution is to buy a professional card, the $2000 Quadro FX 4600 which features a stereo connector but is not really optimised for gaming, buy some cheap shutter glasses, and find a used CRT monitor and play games in astonishing 800x600 stereoscopic 3D. Wow, what a wonderful setup for the money. Could probably buy you a pair of these 120 Hz all-in-one PCs from MSI, Acer or NEC...

You may have a look at warpplayer which comes with a trial version for Mac OS-X Leopard :

I suppose it should be able to work on any graphics card supporting OpenGL Quad Buffer Stereo, such as NVIDIA Quadro FX cards which can be found at a cheap price.
