3DCombine = create 3D photos and videos from 2D ones

Post by shonofear »

check it....

http://www.3dcombine.com/
3DCombine allows you to create 3D
photos and videos from 2D ones and
output them in any 3D format you want.
It comes with information on viewing
different types of 3D image and a
tutorial with sample photos to get you
started. You don't need any special
equipment or camera skills, if your
pictures aren't perfect 3DCombine can
correct them for you.

Alternatively, use 3DCombine to
manipulate and display existing 3D
images including batch converting
between 3D formats.

Professional 2D->3D conversion
services are also available http://www.3dcombine.com/services.
Only works for Windows Xp I believe and has a 15 day trial,
I found it from a post on http://www.stereo3d.com/cgi-bin/discus/ ... ?3174/4755 that explains a bit more.

Thought I would give it a little plug, seems to work quiet well.

Enjoy

Is this the program that can make 1 2D photo to 3D?
I think it had a bad auto-function and doing it manually with this black = deep and white = near was too much work for me...

Or does it put 2 2D images together to one 3D? How well is 'autorotation'? How well does it perform if you have a folder with about 100 images always left/right? Is it faster than klicking next and save and maybe make some adjustments like it is with stereophotomaker & plugin for autoadjust?

hey good questions,
probably best asking to the fella on the stereo3dforum on the link i put on my fist post.
Not sure if he gets around on these boards though.

Seems like it did a fairy decent attempt to put a 2d landscape picture into a 3d one all automated.

it is a 30 Starts demo... And I can do Auto conversion (works not so bad but the algorythm of T3D is better) and it is also able to do that Dephmap thing (Grayscale).

It is also abel to fuse an Left image and an Right image to one, in different formates (.jps, .jpg, etc.) and systems (Interlanced, color anaglph, etc.).

At all it is a nice program...

and it is easy to awoyd the startup counter, via editing the registry.

Hm... since I don't believe in autoconversion of 2D images I think I'll stick to my trusted free ware. I think I tested it some time (month) ago and didn't like it thaaaat much...

Does this registry edit kill time lock after 30 days?

im not saying that Ive bought alot of legit progs myself but I do purchase stuff I'm really into and use alot.

Respect the fellas efforts on his decent working program.

Its more the thing, that I already own a good program and don't need one more, which costs more $.
And I would have learn to use it and if I wasn't satisfied then it was no good Idea to start at all...
