I will visit Tokyo around this date.. I'll be taking an interpreter.

Too late notice for me. Would have loved to go. Next year definitely though.

How much did your flight cost? I could never find anything lower than $1500 despite some people saying it should be near $1000 in the summer.

Looks interesting, would be a great excuse you say hi to from friends over there. However it will likely need to be next year.

We had a booth there last year.
It's a huge tradeshow but only a very small part is dedicated to 3D and even a smaller part concerns VR.
So if you're in Tokyo by this time it can be interesting to go there (I don't remember if you have to pay to visit, but it's possible),
but don't go to Tokyo specifically for that, you might be disappointed.

I'm scheduled to fly into Tokyo on that date for other events.... so thought it would be fun to go check it out

I have an A.R company... so I'll go take a look & see what new gadgets etc... the Japanese are coming out with.

I would be impressed if I see an Oculus Rift there
