Totally stoked about the 1.09 driver for shutter support!

Getting really excited about the possibility of actually being able to use shutter glasses w/ my current rig.
Vista 64 Ultimate / Gefore 8800 GT (G92).

I've got two shutter setups:

1) StereoGraphics CrystalEyes
2) eDimensional

Any ideas if either will be supported?

ALSO...HEY IZ3D! CAN I PREORDER!? I WANT IT YESTERDAY. 8)

Nobody knows for sure. Might need a special dongle for shutterglasses.

Pre-order? Its out this week.

In terms of shutter support - at the moment there is no frame sync so its likely without a marker dongle (which hasnt been invented yet but I'm working on it) you'll need ED-Activator (to force your eDims to be on and sync with the card output) and a hardware switch to be able to invert the L/R signal instantly. Without this don't expect it to work out of the box :(

Incidentally, which CrystalEyes setup do you have and what do you think of it?

No need for pre-order, since it will have 30 days of trial for each output (if that one is not free at all).
That means you can DL it as soon as the first beta is out and test it. If it works then you could order before the 30 days exprie, so that you don't have to wait then.

I didn't understand all the stuff about the dongle and if it is realy a problem or if it is easy to solve.
If you glasses (like ED) support interlaced, you should at least be able to use that. It's not perfect, but it should have perfect sync 8)

I am jumping around, can´t sit on my chair, can´t wait to test the new driver. Maybe it was too much coffee today *g*
Okay i do it, and ask the unaskable question:

Maybe we can get an ETA?

*ducking and stealing away*

I am told by Vadim (at the start of this week) it is 'definately this week'. Would have been earlier but a few last minute bugs, thats just the way it goes. I myself am pis*ing my pants in anticipation, getting frustrated at still seeing the 'Crysis review' being the most recent news entry every time I hit refresh on the main page!

I hope planar type will be supported, as it was promised in the past (and the correct mouse cursor mirrored movement, of course). Any idea about the final price of this driver?.

Between $50-$100 (BlackQ wrote that somewhere, can't remember where)

Considering eDimensional's driver uses interlaced, iz3D's driver should be able to do the same thing.
