hi! very nice stuff! nice to see you are gaining experience. I liked your flying/3d text, however please if you are replacing the background replace it with something 3d- atm it looks weird like screen depth or something like that, also I have noticed your webcams are not 100% aligned properly vertically- I suggest scotch taping several pencils/rulers to em to hold em in place. make more vids!!
I like the direction you are headed, keep going!
EDIT: just did a cool thing- on the video preview image above, I went crosseyed, then I went crosseyed again to see the 3d image

Re: 2 Webcam 3D Tutorial Video
Great video, very helpful
...but ...argh! The old toe-in thing!
I'm outnumbered by people who advocate toe-in. Would it be helpful if I tried to state my case against it? (a poll might be interesting too, just for fun)
wait they were toed in? so that's why I felt uncomfortable watching it- definitely make it parallel. For instance all of the footage taken with the minoru3d is parallel and it looks swell! -though yeah the disadvantage of the minoru3d is that you can't adjust the distance/stereo separation, however the advantage is that alignment is no longer an issue.

Re: 2 Webcam 3D Tutorial Video
Try downloading and watching with your S-3D setup:
The bubble blowing video on my "S-3D Shenanigans #1" video was toed in and it looks great, but everyone has different tastes.
yeah I did (both videos)- your second one didn't look right either crosseyed or via the iz3d- could be the background or the toe in- try starting simple- no fx, parralel.

These are the left and right videos put into Stereo Movie Maker and then compress as MP4.
yeah these seem better than the first vid (couldn't see the difference between 1 and 2 though) - also too bad there's no sound. it could have been the background you added that interfered with the 3d

Re: 2 Webcam 3D Tutorial Video
Thanks for testing them out, I left the sound out to make it render quicker, if you want sound I can render them again.
Strange, on my DIY Planar setup test #2 looks flat and #1 is 3D.
I need to do one more test, I'm going to use test #1 and put it into Sony Vegas again and render it, maybe the Sony codec is causing to problem, but I think you are right that the background FX is what is messing the 3D up.
