So I'm trying to get Fallout 3 to work using my 8800GTX + shutter glasses. I can get fine stereo 3d if I use the bImageSpaceEffects=0 setting from Oblivion, but the game crashes when I get into dialog. Has anyone else found a way to enable stereo 3d without using this setting with an 8800GTX? Or make it not crash on dialog? Thanks.

Well, I had AA disabled in game. But I thought you had to enable at least 1x2 AA manually to make the 3d work with the 8800 drivers? I'll try turning shadows down. What 3d setup do you have?

edit: I just tried turning shadows off, turning everything to minimum in the config program, disabling AA, and it still crashes if bImageSpaceEffects=0 is set. Do you have this line in your fallout.ini? I can't get 3d to work without setting this line. Did you get it to work some other way?

Another user reports that it works. My crashes are strange, sometimes after 20 secs in the outside, then after some minutes.. maybe my card is getting too hot, must do some more tests.

3d shutter glasses still aren't working with the iz3d drivers, right?

No, i dont think so. Only if you have at least 60fps, but if it drops below that the images get switched l/r.

Well, doubt I'll be getting that on Fallout 3. Anyway, I'm posting on the Fallout 3 forums to see if anyone can help over there.
