 VR920 Scaling

Hello,
I just realized that my second hand VR920 by vuzix (it says icuiti on the goggles) won't scale 800x600 to 640x480. Instead the displays are completely blue (accesing the integrated brightness options/etc. is still possible) (1024x768 scales down just fine).

So now want to play a game that has 800x600 resution only, but works only windowed (with 1024x768 desktop) because of that=>higher loss of details.

The question now is,
a) how to make the vr920 downscale 800x600 (I think use the latest drivers... 2.2 or something) or
b)scaling with my graphics card somehow (nvidia 76gt)
c)scaling with some third party program.

Since I couldn't find anything yet, I hope someone here is able to help me.

Verify the refresh rate. It needs to be 60 Hz.
