DK1 support and advice required

Hi there,

Firstly, I am not very technical so apologies for any apparent ludditery. I'm having a bit of a mare getting my DK1 working. I have every intention to get either the vive or the CV1 but they are so expensive just now. I have a Radeon RX480 intel i5 4670k cpu and 16Gb RAM.

I have installed the oculus runtime 0.8.0.0 as I understand this to be the only SDK which is now supported in windows 10. I have installed Vireio V2.0.

Thus far what I have achieved is getting Vireio to display skyrim in the split screen that I imagine is required for VR to work but there is red text stating the HMD is not detected. However in the runtime it is saying that everything is fine. So I'm thinking there is a problem between Vireio V2 and SDK 0.8.0.0.

I'm just looking for someone to give me some steps I should take in order to get this up and running.

I know I should get a more modern set up but it's all a bit expensive just now. So I would be eternally grateful for any assistance.
