alright. i want 3d bad! :) i love it. i got a pretty good gaming comp with 8800gts 640mb (might upgrade soon), phenom six-core cpu. I really wanna do 3d on the pc, watch movies, play some games. I also want to watch 3d on an optoma hd65 dlp projector and possibly get the ps3 running 3d on a 40in lcd thats not 3d, its just a class tv.

http://www.3d-vip.com/ i was lookin at this site and it looked legit but does it really work??? can i buy the low-end one to work on everything I have

What would be the best option for me and at the same time cost-effective. Ive been running through the forums and saw how some others are doing it and I really need some professional advice. Thanks, Justin!

Here is the link to the 3D upgrade for your projector:
http://www.optoma.co.uk/projectordetail ... %20Upgrade

Here are instructions:
http://www.optoma.co.uk/HD65UpgradePrintable.aspx

Here is a thread with people that have done it (I recommend reading the whole thing before trying):

Then to play games and watch movies in 3D you will need a pair of DLP-Link glasses (the Ultra-Clear ones are supposed to be good, $60). You may be able to play games with the IZ3D driver, though I am not sure about this (probably). For watching movies it may be more complicated. You might want to purchase the VIP 3D-Gamer from that site ($200). That will allow you to hook up a PS3 and watch Blu-Ray 3D or play 3D games with the Optoma projector.

A 2D HDTV will not work in 3D, although some people may claim it will (if it does it will look like crap).

Obviously you need the glasses to see in 3D. That VIP 3D-Gamer is only necessary if you want to use the PS3 (games, Blu-Ray 3D). You should be able to use the IZ3D to play PC games without any additional hardware. There is a 30-day free trial so you can test it out and see if it works with your system.
