Thanks to wheatstone for the file upload service and to cyber for his stopwatch idea.

First up is Justin Lorenzo from Texas, he rode with me in a taxi on the first day of Pax. He gave me a lot of great info about PAX.

Joost Bruining, my press host at PAX - a really nice guy

Mario and his girlfriend Luigi (Wow I am just now looking at some of this footage, dreadfully jerky on my netbook - the motion compensation didn't work as well as I had hoped, the salesman told me since this camera didn't do still photos - it would do better video - anyways I did bring a tripod - but homeland security folks at Tampa International Airport wouldn't let me bring it - I guess it could have been used as a weapon - I was happy they let the stereo camera rig go through - will definitely have to use a tripod with this rig - I apologize to everyone)

Some neat game in the free play area - I held it pretty still for this - not so jerky (sigh):

Those files take a long while to download (and you can only do one at a time). Also, the Stereoscopic Player doesn't support MOV files so I am not sure how one would view those videos in 3D. You might want to look at a program called SUPER which will allow you to convert to a more common PC format like MPG or AVI.

I made the files into a regular 3D video:

Thanks Freke1, that helps.

So the 3D effect was actually quite nice (except for the first video, but I assume you were just getting used to it). The image quality was a tad grainy but it still looked fine (and much better than I expected based on the reviews). For the price its not bad at all. Those pocket cameras are really hard to hold steady, not much you can do about that.

Thanks man! All I have right now is a small netbook, I do not have the processing power to make these files, maybe this weekend, I still have many more s3d videos to upload from PAX, but travel plans got altered so I am running late.
