Arduino Board -Sony SimulView Glasses on any 3DTV (act.sync)

Post by nitrogen14 »

Hello,
sorry for my english.
I have an idea, which I try to realize.

I would like to play two player Split-Screen -> 2x Fullscreen on one 3DTV

Playstation 3D Glasses has 2D A/B mode
RealD CE4 glasses are too expensive

Playstation 3D Glasses(SimulView) on Samsung 3DTV 2010 IR Sync
Playstation 3D Glasses(SimulView) on Samsung 3DTV 2011 RF Sync

SimulView Glasses work on another TV only in 3D mode.

TV IR/RF -> SyncSignal ->Ardiuno Board receiver -SyncDecoder-transmitter -> SimulView IR Signal -> Playstation 3D Glasses

I ordered glasses from usa, but i have not PlayStation 3D Display.
I need IR Protocol for PlayStation 3D Display and RF protocol for Samsung TV 2011, can someone help me?

This week I get
-Arduino Board(UNO)
-Infrared Shield
-xBee:ZigBee protocol (IEEE 802.15.4) for RF

Thank you for your attention

ps. topic in russian on my forum

You didn't say what 3DTV did you? If you havent purchased already, a cheap n easy solution would be to get a passive 3D TV and just swap 2 lenses on two pairs of polarized glasses...

T27A950 2011 RF
UE40D6500 2011 RF
PS50C7790 2010 IR
i have 3xRF & 5IR pairs of glasses
i can mode my samsung glasses to show 2D L or 2D R only, but it is not interesting
Samsung SSG-2100->Dual Fullscreen Gamig Mode to Show 2D Left or Right Frame Only

if it works a can use not only Sony Ps3 3D glasses on any TV at home, but also RF glasses on 3D-IR-Sync-TV and IR Glasses on 3D-RF-Sync-TV

offtop
only samsung tvs can show iptv-live stream, another tvs need a settopbox.

Well is simple: Sony console display multiplayer in side by side or top/bottom formats (depend on games really) => all you have to do is one glasses pair to be sincronised to left image and other to right image. By default the glasses alternate so with left eye you see left image and with right eye you see right image.
With passive glasses is easy... just combine lenses from 2 pairs of glasses (left one from first with left one from second - put in place of right one.... and same with right on second pair) and then choose the mode from display to sbs/tb
