Hi Neil and friends,
Whenever I type the word "shutterglasses", it shows up underlined in red as a misspelled word. Please update the forum's dictionary to include this word and maybe some others that people find like DVI or some other abbreviations.
thanks for such a great forum.
Update: add these too subforum nVidia TriDef (iZ3D is already on it apparently) ATI AMD Athlon spellcheck geforce iondrive and other usernames? "usernames" more? :)
Hmmm, or is the spellcheck a function of my browser?
Darn it, it IS my browser's spellcheck function. Nevermind, sorry to bother you.
Do you know how to add these things to Firefox's spellchecker?

Got it:
If you're using Firefox and want to update your spellchecker, here's how:
On winXP, go to this folder: C:\Documents and Settings\"windows login name"\Application Data\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\"something".default
and edit/create a plain text persdict.dat file using Notepad with any words you want added to your spellchecker as one word per line. Save, and exit. You need to restart your browser for it to work. Otherwise that's it.
Sorry for the non-forum slant to this post but other's will probably read this and want to know this stuff too.
--- me ---
On Vista or win-8, you should be able to figure out something similar.

You can also simply right-click the word and choose "Add to dictionary".

yeah, I eventually realized I should try a right-click. I just went to Google before then and would up in some odd place. Anyway, I guess it's the same for Internet Explorer?
Whatever,
ciao.
