Cybereality, maybe you are right. I have seen reports on Nvidia 3D Vision forums about X1261 prior to December '09 not working in 3D but not about H5360, although this site says that all Acer 120Hz projectors manufactured prior to the aforementioned date may not be 3D compatible.

Does anybody know if this projector has the 3-pin VESA stereo port so it could be used with glasses other than Nvidia's???

The projector has a 3-pin port but it's not for shutterglasses (I think it's for some kind of manual control). Nevertheless you can use old shutterglasses like Edimensional or Elsa with the old Nvidia drivers and Windows XP. I read positive feedback about that.

Hey guys,

I am thinking about buy nvidia 3d glasses for pc games with Acer 5360, I know it works well.

And I am thinking about buy one of these transmitters ( http://www.3dflightsim.com/product/lcd_glasses2.htm or http://www.ultimate3dheaven.com/hipobldlphd3.html ) with these glasses ( http://www.ultimate3dheaven.com/dlp3dwiglfis.html ) to watch movies, because I will need 6-8 glasses to watch movies and only 1 to play games.. And Nvidia is much more expensive....

Do the transmitter and the glasses work well with the Acer h5360? Anyone indicates another better system or is this good?

These transmitters currently do not work with this projector. Unless you want to re-use very very old graphics cards with old drivers.
At the moment, you can only use nvidia 3D vision glasses or DLP-link glasses.
You'll have to wait for iZ3D 1.11 drivers for any hope to get other transmitters to work with this projector.

Hi, sorry for bump.

I'm getting an H5360 and I'm curious about using DLP-link instead of Nvidia's glasses, mainly with regard to gaming. Am I correct in my understanding that DLP-link glasses can be used for playing games with iz3d drivers?

My other question is: would DLP-link gaming be at least equally good qualitywise as using Nvidia's 3D vision kit + drivers for gaming concerning ghosting, flickering and such?

Any advice would be much appreciated
