If you have both Yaholo and Nvidia accounts, you are having a bad week,. After 450,000 Yahoo accounts were exposed, now there is a 400,000 accounts theft at Nvidia.

Those with Nvidia accounts have been notified [unsure if all or just developers].

"Earlier today, Nvidia announced its developer forums were hacked this week and that the following user information was compromised by unauthorized third parties: usernames, e-mail addresses, hashed passwords with random salt value, and public-facing "About Me" profile information. The semiconductor maker has now confirmed that up to 400,000 of its user accounts were swiped by the hackers."

All - I got an email as well.

It was down several days before that email and the forum is STILL down today!

This is really pissing me off because I pulled out my HMZ-T1 to use with all of the new games I bought off of the Steam sale, and my 3DTV Play trial has expired. There's no way for me to purchase 3DTV Play to get 3d gaming on my HMD until the site is restored.

Yeah, it has been over a month now. I'm starting to wonder what's taking so long.

I thought it was just the forums that are down. They really have no way of restoring your license? There isn't a general support email to reach?

Regards,
Neil

I went so far as to call them on the phone, and they told me there's no way to buy a license until the web site is back. Fortunately, I was able to find that there are ways of extending the trial.

And yes, it's STILL down. There's an additional message on the page saying that fixing the problem is taking longer than anticipated. That's quite an understatement. Are they writing their own forum software or something?

If they come back and that topic they started years ago to ask the devs questions (the one where they answered once and ignored the topic from then on) is still sticked, I'm going to throw a 3D temper tantrum.

When I read this, it just didn't click. I seriously thought Abacus was a forum platform (which I Googled). Then I realized it was a joke! The joke is on me for not getting it the first time.

Any guesses where the 3D Vision gamers are? Whether their forums are down or not, I think it's important to show a lively community.

Regards,
Neil

The forums are back!

Well, more or less....

Well, mostly less.... They are running like a slug right now. You're lucky to get a post in before there's a timeout. Must be that abacus OS. ;)

Anyway, they are are now under the GEForce website community section.

Surprize, surprize!
I seriously thought that they ditched the forums.
Welcome back then.
