Flow 3d Motion Touch Controller

Post by talonclaw »

Hello.

I'm about to invest in a control device for my DK2...

Im hoping to find a leap motion controller for next to nothing on ebay but failing that, im considering this.

Has anyone heard of it? Or tried it. Are any developers developing VR support for it? Would such support even be needed.

I couldn't find any information pertaining to VR

I'd stick with Leap over that. Leap is actually supported by some VR apps, and it has software providing actual hand tracking.

From the link:
Does it work like Leap Motion?
Our controller and Leap motion both use infrared technology. With Leap Motion you can track individual positions of fingers for example. For our applications like switching songs we needed simpler controls like swipe right or left.
So, except for very limited use cases, it is no substitute for a Leap.

Personally, I'd just wait, and save your money for Lighthouse or Touch.
