The Language of Visual Storytelling in 360 VR - Part1 and 2.

The articles are from a perspective (forced pun) of narrative storytelling; particularly Part 2.

Hopefully it might be of benefit to upcoming filmmakers looking into Cinematic VR.
Topics techniques and tools discussed
  • Head tracker Hijack
  • Deep staging
  • Depth of Field in Stereo
  • Limiting HFOV
  • Stereo falloff (STO) for one-shot spherical capture
The last point (STO) needs working out and depends on the profile of the camera (opposite poles stereo sidebyside rig with spherical lenses) and hfov interference.
