Re: Dungeon rollercoaster
Nice! With a little spit and polish that will be superb.
How do you feel the experience is for v-sickness, compared to "the" rollercoaster UDK demo? That demo had the happy accident that it does not alter your pitch or tilt, which is actually helpful for v-sickness as your headtracking is being interfered with less. I imagine this would be much more intense, as this rollercoaster is manipulating all three axes.
Lastly, I'm wondering if it might be nice to occasionally have more open areas, such as expansive caverns? It's nice to have a break between the claustrophobic, and it's always scary to be able to see what's coming!
The possibility of combining real rollercoasters with VR visuals is a pretty exciting topic, too...

Sometimes I sits and thinks, and sometimes I just sits.

Awesome stuff! I would agree with above that some gigantic caverns like in LOTR or something would be sweet. Some huge drops below and some super high roofs would be sweet.

Re: Dungeon rollercoaster
Hi there, I saw a post on reddit asking if there were any other rollercoaster demos and I linked to your project - there is some feedback there if you are interested:

Re: Dungeon rollercoaster
Its technically a very nice demo, but there is really not much sense of motion that I get. The drops are too short, the apparent speed is too slow, and the course is too twisty. Compared to RiftCoaster, RiftCoaster generates the 'wooah' factor, whereas this one doesn't (at least for me).
I'd add some higher speed parts and some bigger drops personally...
