Too bad I'm not back in Australia yet, or before Wednesday would mean in the next 3 hours. But since I'm in France, the update could be anytime in the next 12 and a half hours. :-(
Maybe I should check kickstarter, just in case...

Pressing F5 as many times as you can will in fact make the update come out faster, and not overload the server.

Figure of speech will in fact be an actual truth, not figurative. Or just that, an obvious metaphor of enthusiasm for big news. ;)

Drunk or sleep deprivation?

Also, I quite like the idea of VR catch, I wonder if you could achieve it with Leap + Rift?

I'm confused... what's all this current hype about? Is something meant to happen soon, has there been an announcement, or is it all speculation and... crazy people?

I announced that we should have an update out today, and now people are peeing themselves in anticipation. :P

There's no "they", it's just me... if it's not out by midnight in California, you can all get mad at me. I didn't really ask anybody if it was okay for me to say that, so...

You will get it. :) We just got back from China, had jetlagged Thanksgiving, and now have a big update in the works! Communication is going to be easier going forward.

I think Palmer also contributed to that. You saying there will be an update before Wednesday and Palmer saying there will be a "big update" within the next few days. (that was nov. 26)

Dycus, if you don't give us presents when you say you will, then you don't have the right to wear that hat.
It's not even December yet Dycus, I sure do hope you won't fail Santa. I don't know what I'd think were that to happen

All right, all right, maybe I do have a big mouth.

Go to bed, you guys. I made promises the rest of the poor guys couldn't keep. :P Nate says tomorrow morning. Not as soon as you were hoping, but still soon! Sorry about that; my bad.
Friday? No, no, definitely sooner than that. It'll probably be... tomorrow.

Have you had all your shots? You should probably prime your immune system with a "greasy spoon" fry-up first!

You might get into trouble if you go straight for the hard stuff, and I'd feel personally responsible...

Ok, I took it easy and had Harry Ramsden's Country Vegetable Burger and chips instead. Now I just need to go to the airport and catch the plane home in a couple of hours. Then hopefully I'll get a status update that the Rift's have already been shipped and are outside the front door. They did promise the update would be big. And I'll be home just in time for December.

I hope it's out by today (Wednesday) or tomorrow. I have a 24 hour flight tomorrow and don't want to have to pay for Wi-Fi privileges during my stopover in the US (American airports are awful) just to see if the update is out. ;)

I hope I get the update before the flight. Virgin Atlantic has news updates during the flight, but strangely they don't include news about the rift. They didn't even include news about the election. I guess they don't want passengers panicking when they find out the Rift has been delayed.

7inch display. Those stereo centres are way wider than our eye centres. Eye aches hear we come wooot!! And no mention of an increased FOV? The delay to March was caused by logistical problems and part substitutions rather than last minute upgrades. Oh well.
