Wiimote and Nunchuck

Post by MeteorFalling2 »

I don't really know why FreePIE does this, but if I use both the Wiimote and Nunchuck, the polling seems inconsistent compared to if I use just the Wiimote.

For example I have a my gyro movements mapped to the mouse movements. When I run just the mouse, I get smooth and perfect movements. When I attach the Nunchuck and enable extensions, my mouse movements speed up and slow down. It's annoying and unusable for anything that needs accuracy.

The only way I can use both the Nunchuck and Wiimote at the same time and have accuracy and joystick control is to use two Wiimotes. One with just gyro use, and another attached to the Nunchuck.

its not so user friendly we know, but with the curretn implementation the script thead needs to run at 2ms delay (500hz) or faster using nunchunk plus motion+

Yeah, I have it running at 2ms in my script. If I change it to 1ms, it feels better, but not nearly as accurate as standalone Motionplus movements.
