Wii U mote

I'm planning on fixing full Wii mote support, for this I need a Wii mote. Bit it seems only the Wii U mote is available, is it fully compatible with the old Wii mote plus?

So have sitten all evning trying to find a lib that works with the new Wii mote pluses (The one with the motion plus built in) without any luck.

Any tips?

Direlight, the only program that works good for me is the Dolphin emulator, it finds the mote without any hassle (On the Toshiba stack) its open source so with any luck we can extract the code from it.
