Abe Lincoln Vampire Hunter 3D Blu-ray

Post by fsp48 »

I just picked this up to have a new 3D BR movie to watch at the hotel while working out of town. When I 1st saw the posters at the theater I let out a skeptical "What...?" but after checking it out I was thoroughly entertained. The 3d to me was great on my Optoma GT750 and even better on my no going back to stock modified HMZ-T1.( http://youtu.be/_jqAtGabTWU ) Worth getting if you like that type of movie. Looking at the tech specs on IMDB and comparing to Avatar or Sanctum for reference I guess this movie was converted and if so it looks like it was done very well.

Yeah, I found this to be a very very strange movie. But I did enjoy it. Its worth a rental. This is a 3D conversion. And is done well for the most part.

I was really surprised by this. I never bothered with it and last week saw it a used copy for £15 so thought I'd buy it, watch it and sell it on...but I'm keeping it. The 3D for the most part was nice and impressive for a conversion and the story was a cool no-brainer that I'd happily watch again.
It's one of the only post conversions I've ever kept :)
