Oculus Rift clan?

I plan on making a game when my oculus dev kit arrives, but I also plan on playing a lot of VR games with it. Bit of a niche hobby though so I am inviting anyone with a HMD to join my clan of 1

Sounds good! Once we all got our Rifts we should all get on a game together of D3BFG. That would be pretty cool.
In the future, I think it will be important for games/applications to push the enabled peripherals to the server, so servers can lock out users who dont have HMDs or tracker guns etc, just to ensure a level playing field. |

There will be distinct differences in the capabilities of players playing with a) keyboard/mouse b) seated VR c) standing 360 VR d) natural motion VR Not to mention - separation of gun, 6DOF head tracking, etc. It may be quite complicated to sort out and enforce all these controller classes for fairness. |
