Razer Hydra owner please help me out!

Post by CyberVillain »

Im trying to emulate the Razer Hydra in FreePIE.
I'm not having much luck getting past the Calibration phase of the demos. You know the little text saying to point the Left control to the base station and press trigger.

If you own a Hydra can you please download attached program, run it, point your left hand hydra to the base station and hold down the trigger.

Please post the resulting log.bin file here

Much appreciated!

If I use your data in my fake sixense.dll it works so now I just have to find out why :)

I may be barking up the wrong tree here but recently i've been looking at the Minecrift code a fair bit. In there thery have a MCHydra file which deals with the calibration of the hydra. It's written in java but it's quite readable.

Didn't know if it would be any help as it may explain the calibration process to get yours to initialize properly?

Matt.

They probably need some kind of proxy between VM land and Windows land, the Sixense SDK is a windows dll.
No luck getting them to support the FreePIE IO plugin or mocking up a UDP support?

Strange that they dont want generic tracker support
