We normally don't report on AMD or Nvidia driver updates unless there is some major innovation. AMD has just released Catalyst 12.7 beta, and according to Tom's Hardware, their software writers deserve the weekend off. Read full article... _________________  |

Yes but what is the price of this optimizations?
Usually this kind of games optimizations from AMD or nvidia means a degradation of the image quality. |

If only they could actually fix the major bugs reported to them for some of the older AMD cards. Makes it difficult (as a developer) to make fully compatible games. I am, however, glad to see such a remarkable performance boost.
