Hi all,

I have just taken the plunge and ordered the new nvidia 3dvision glasses standalone version. I am going to use the glasses with the Stereoscopic 3D VGA Pass-through Dongle w/ Reverse Toggle and Delay Control (http://nextstepsolutions.co.uk/home/node/11) - now discontinued for the moment (hope I have invested wisely here!).

The problem is that I made my order at the start of May and still have not recieved the glasses. They were ordered through a UK store and I have been told my the manager that there is a software problem with the UK version and Nvidia is not releaseing the stock to the public as yet. The stock is there at the store but it cannot be released. Can someone from Nvidia or anyone with a similar problem advise.

Thanks
Pabs

I think the store owner is lying to you, plenty of people in Europe have the Glasses and I haven't heard of any issues.

I didn't know either, the British VGA / Mains system differs from the continental one :D . ..
I do not know which setup you are pursuing (especially the choice of display) but if you follow my posts on this thread I wouldn't set my hopes too high it will work.
For your explanation: The circuitry I breadboarded does basically the same thing as the nextstepsolution box, and I could shift phase (aka delay) the sync signal by as much as 360 degrees. While I was able to feed it with horizontal sync pulses and Vesa Sync I was not able to reduce ghosting with a LCD based display...maybe DLP works better though due to it's impulse type nature...

Hi guys,

Thanks for your help. I dunno if the (http://nextstepsolutions.co.uk/home/node/11) will workd as I still dont have my Nvidia glasses although I hope it will work with my DLP projector. We will see...

Dunno about the owner of the store lying to me however as I paid through Paypal I will goe him a little more time and then lodge a claim....
