Well, they only really support the Nvidia 3D Vision glasses. However, in certain cases, users are able to use other glasses if their display supports it. For example, on old Mitsubishi DLP HDTVs, you can use old 3D glasses (ELSA, eDimensional, etc.) via the 3-pin VESA 3D sync port. And I have heard of users using older glasses in conjunction with the Nvidia 3D Vision glasses, so thats possible (at least with some projectors). But I don't know if you can use older shutter glasses by themselves.

I have heard of some people having success with LCD but, for the most part, shutter glasses do not work with 60Hz LCDs.

If you are looking for a cheap option, you might want to pick up the wired Nvidia 3D Vision glasses, which will be $99 when they come out in a few weeks. They should also work with CRT monitors, which you may have laying around or can buy used for cheap.

Hi cybereality

Thanks for the heads up. Given how much gaming I do, I think I will stick with the good old red/cyan option. after I get the free ones you are sending me (thanks ) I might look at purchasing some better plastic ones that you suggested
Might even try the Parallax Barrier option at some stage

Thanks

Rhys
